Hi all! ❤
I hope your Wednesday is looking good! We’re half-way through the week! Woot woot! 😉
I thought it would be great to share what I use to achieve a clean fresh-faced everyday look! I have written about my evening skincare routine (⇐link) and I basically use the same routine for the day but swap the eye cream for sunscreen! I’m not really into putting too much effort into my daily look and find that using a lot of makeup takes up too much time. So I basically use a cushion to hide my redness and my small blemishes, do my eyebrows, and I am outta here! 😎
So a background story about my purchase, my boyfriend and I were in Myeongdong and this was the only place that I told him we needed to find. I have used Klavuu’s facial cleanser before and have really enjoyed it and wanted to stock up on that and try their body lotions, which were much cheaper in Korea. While shopping, the girl that worked there recommended this cushion for my redness and since I was already there in Korea, I decided to give it a try! Now let’s get started on the review! ⭐
The cushion that I ended up with was their Urban Pearlization High Coverage Cushion. As the name states, its supposed to have high coverage and also contains SPF50+ to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. In the description, it also states that it acts as a pore controller, so once applied it helps eliminate the appearance of pores. This product is made of: orange blossom to brighten skin, lemon balm to condition the skin, quince which helps tighten the pores, and Korean pearl extract which gives you a whitening-smooth effect. You can read more about it what it contains through YesStyle and Klavuu‘s website but be warned that most of it is in Korean.
After application, my face appears cleaner and much more brighter. My redness is less noticeable and most of my pores on my nose and cheeks look like they have disappeared. This cushion does have a light fragrance to it and smells what I think a pearl would smell like haha 😀 Overall, I love the way this cushion sits on my face 🙂 I have found very little need to touch-up and I don’t see many creases on areas where I normally have to touch up on (nose bridge+forehead). This cushion lasts a good work day and doesn’t seem too “cakey” on my face.
If you are looking at a natural light to medium coverage cushion, I would recommend Klavuu’s Urban Pearlsation Cushion 😀 Although it says it is high coverage, I don’t really see it fully covering up my acne blemishes. It does however help with reducing the appearance of my redness and smaller blemishes. Because of this, I decided to rate this a 4/5.
So far, I am really liking this brand and I am looking forward to more products from them! Let me know what you think by writing a comment below ↓ 🙂 or you can just say hi~ 🙂
